ANY LUV 1 is an electric two-wheeler built to haul like a small car

A Belgian startup called ANY is betting that the gap between a scooter and a city car is bigger than it needs to be. Its first vehicle, the LUV 1, is an electric two-wheeler designed to move through traffic with scooter-like agility while carrying the kind of load most riders associate with a hatchback.

ANY describes the category as the “Life Utility Vehicle,” or LUV, and frames the idea simply: a machine that unites two-wheeler agility with small-car utility. The company, which operates under Rise Global, is currently taking reservations ahead of production.

The core idea

Most electric two-wheelers ask riders to choose between nimbleness and carrying capacity. The LUV 1 is built around the claim that it can offer both, with a large enclosed cargo area integrated into the body of the bike rather than bolted on as an afterthought.

In ANY’s promotional images, that space is shown holding delivery crates, grocery bags, camping gear, a pet carrier, and even a bouquet of flowers — a range meant to show the same vehicle serving a courier, a weekend traveler, and a parent on the school run.

The headline numbers

ANY lists four core figures for the platform. The LUV 1 offers 120 liters of cargo capacity, which is roughly 4.2 cubic feet, or about 32 US gallons of enclosed space.

ANY LUV 1 Cargo Compartment
The LUV 1’s integrated 120-liter enclosed cargo compartment is designed to carry everything from groceries and luggage to work equipment and pet carriers.

For range, the company cites up to 140 kilometers in its extended configuration, or about 87 miles. Top speed is listed at 100 km/h, which is close to 62 mph, enough to keep up with faster urban roads and shorter stretches of highway. The drivetrain is fully electric.

Those numbers place the LUV 1 between a city scooter and a light motorcycle in performance, with cargo room as its main point of difference.

A modular, build-your-own platform

The most unusual part of the LUV 1 is how much of it the buyer chooses. ANY’s online configurator treats the vehicle as one platform with a long list of swappable parts, and the company’s pitch is that owners can reconfigure it as their needs change.

Riders start by picking a front setup tuned either for smooth city flow or for rougher surfaces, then choose between street and all-road tires and a small, large, or no windshield.

The side panels are where the vehicle changes character. Options include a standard everyday panel, a translucent and breathable “companion” panel built to carry a passenger or, in ANY’s words, a “co-pilot,” a hinged cargo panel for heavier loads, and an open-frame setup that strips the structure back to a minimum. Panels come in colors named Birch, Black, Coffee, and Opaque, with several pattern choices.

ANY LUV 1 Configurable
Owners can configure the LUV 1 with different side panels, windshields, tires, storage organizers, racks, and accessories to suit commuting, family use, or business needs.

Storage can be tailored too, with organizer or adjustable top trays, removable floor and middle trays, door bags, and a large basket. Buyers can add a passenger handle with an integrated rear tray, side racks, a weatherproof top bag, an extended footrest, and even a rain poncho integrated into the top lid that pulls out when needed.

Practical relevance

The case for a vehicle like the LUV 1 rests on the kinds of trips that are awkward on a normal scooter but wasteful in a car: a grocery run, a small delivery route, a camping weekend for two, or a daily commute that also has to carry a child’s gear.

By enclosing the cargo and making the layout swappable, ANY is aiming at riders who would otherwise need either a second vehicle or a bulky aftermarket setup. Whether the real-world range and load behavior match the headline figures is something independent testing will have to confirm once vehicles reach customers.

Significance and limitations

The LUV 1 sits within a broader push to fill the space between bikes and cars with smaller, electric, city-focused vehicles. Its modular approach and integrated cargo are its clearest distinguishing features.

The main caveat is timing. ANY is still in its reservation and early-access phase rather than mass delivery, so the specifications reflect the company’s stated targets rather than fully independent, production-verified results. The 100 km/h top speed and 140-kilometer range are also configuration-dependent, and licensing requirements for a vehicle of this speed will vary by country and by U.S. state. Prospective buyers outside Europe should confirm local road-legal classification before committing.

ANY LUV 1 Accessories
The LUV 1 features a die-cast aluminum chassis and supports optional accessories including weather protection, built-in storage solutions, and passenger equipment.

Pricing and availability

ANY is taking reservations through its website with a refundable-style early-access deposit of €49, which is about US$57. The vehicle is offered on a reserve-now, build-later basis rather than as an in-stock product. Configuration and early-access details are available on ANY’s site.
