If you’ve ever had to worry about keeping your belongings safe and dry while heading out, the Booē Hybrid 20 is here to put your mind at rest. Unlike most so-called waterproof backpacks, the Hyrbid 20 walks the talk, keeping your things safe, dry, and protected from the elements everywhere you go.
Design and features
Booē backpack comes with two fully waterproof compartments. The front pocket is designed for stashing small items that you might need frequently such as your wallet, snacks, etc. The larger pocket is meant for larger items such as laptops, travel documents, and the likes. There are also deep mesh pockets on both sides to house items such as sunscreen and water bottles. Needless to say, the mesh pockets are not waterproof.
Booē Hybrid 20 further comes with side handles that serve as pull tabs, allowing you to hold your bag while opening up the zipper. On the inside, there is a laptop sleeve and small pocket that further make the backpack a joy to use.
Water-proof zippers
If backpacks had no zippers, waterproof backpacks would be a dime a dozen. Hybrid 20 is the first backpack engineered with TRU Zip™ Waterproof Zippers. The manufacturers claim that TRU Zip™ is “the first sliding, toothless, quiet, and truly waterproof zipper system on the market.” The TRU Zip™ design is patented and Booē has two of such zippers. The pull rings are ergonomically designed to facilitate easy opening and closing.
Construction materials
Booē backpacks are made out of polyester with TPU film on both sides. This makes it 100% waterproof and submersible. The fabric is welded instead of stitched on every single seam and the inside of the bag is tape-sealed. This further ensures there is no room for water or air penetration.
Dustproof
In addition to being a 100% waterproof, the Booē backpack is also dust and dirt resistant. The material from which the backpack is made does not allow dust or dirt to stick. Even after a long day at the beach or on muddy terrain, you can simply run a hose over your bag to clean it.
Comfortable to carry
Booē Hybrid 20 has back and shoulder pads and closed cell foam padding that makes it easy to carry. The backpack has adjustable shoulder straps and removable chest straps to help you redistribute weight while on the move. This makes it perfect for hiking and other related applications. If you wish to free up your hands while on the move, you can clip the small items you’re holding to the 2D rings on any of the backpack’s shoulders.
