Avvenire, a Canadian electric vehicle manufacturer, has introduced a versatile addition to its lineup with the 3-in-1 Combat ebike. Known for its earlier three-wheel roadster, the company has now focused on creating a single vehicle that caters to a variety of terrains and seasons. The Combat ebike is designed to serve as a street-legal ride, a dirt bike, and a snowmobile, offering an all-in-one solution for adventurous riders.
Key features and specifications
The Combat ebike is powered by a 5-kW motor, enabling it to achieve speeds of up to 37 mph (60 km/h). The vehicle is equipped with a 4.8-kWh lithium-ion battery that offers a range of 43 miles (70 km) per charge, even when operating at full speed. With a maximum payload of 286 lb (130 kg) and a relatively lightweight build of 242 lb (110 kg), the bike strikes a balance between performance and portability.
What makes the Combat stand out is its modular design. The ebike can be configured in three distinct ways:
- Dirt ebike: Outfitted with robust fat all-terrain Stego tires for off-road adventures.
- Snow ebike: A snow kit allows users to replace the front wheel with a ski attachment, making it suitable for winter conditions.
- Hybrid configuration: A cross between the two setups offers versatility depending on the rider’s needs.
This adaptability allows riders to switch between configurations with ease, making the Combat ebike an all-year vehicle.

Testing in the wild
The Combat ebike was designed by Steven Foster, who has spent the past three years rigorously testing the vehicle in Canada’s wilderness. The bike has demonstrated its ability to navigate a wide range of terrains, including dirt trails, snowy landscapes, and urban streets.
Commenting on the project, Aldo Baiocchi, President of Avvenire Electric Vehicles International, stated: “The Combat bike can be a dirt bike, a snowmobile, and a street-legal bike, 100% electric – all in one at a reasonable price! It was something I’d always dreamed of. The 3-in-1 makes it an all-year vehicle.”

Target audience
While the Combat ebike offers broad functionality, it is not for everyone. Its appeal lies with those who enjoy outdoor activities, such as dirt biking or skiing, and are looking for a compact vehicle that can easily fit in the back of a truck. The ability to adapt the bike to different terrains without needing additional equipment is a key selling point for this niche audience.

Pricing and availability
The Combat ebike was first launched as a Founder Edition, which sold out quickly. In response to high demand, Avvenire is now accepting pre-orders for the standard model, with deliveries expected by the end of February. For a limited time, the company is offering a $2,000 discount on pre-orders paid in full, reducing the price from $9,999 to $7,999.

Avvenire’s 3-in-1 Combat ebike showcases an innovative approach to electric mobility by combining multiple functionalities into a single design. With its ability to handle various terrains and conditions, it aims to offer a convenient and eco-friendly option for adventurous riders.
