Avvenire, once a part of Canadian firm Daymak’s lineup of electric vehicles (EVs), has now branched out as its own entity. In its latest venture, Avvenire has introduced the Leggera, a three-wheel roadster that promises to bring a new dimension to the world of sporty, compact EVs. The Leggera, with its sleek design and accessible pricing, is poised to create a buzz in the market, particularly among enthusiasts of three-wheeled vehicles.

The design of the Leggera bears a resemblance to compact versions of established models like the Polaris Slingshot and Campagna T-Rex. However, what sets the Avvenire Leggera EV apart is not just its aesthetics but also its competitive pricing. The roadster comes in three variants: Sport, Deluxe, and Ultimate, each tailored to suit different preferences and budgets.

The Sport model, which is the entry-level variant, is priced at $11,995. This pricing strategy significantly undercuts its competitors, with the Polaris Slingshot and Campagna T-Rex starting at $21,999 and $68,999, respectively. Furthermore, Avvenire has announced an attractive offer for early birds: the first 100 buyers who prepay in full can purchase the Sport model at a reduced price of $9,999.

The Sport model is rear-wheel drive and powered by a single 4-kW motor, capable of delivering a maximum wheel torque of 260 Nm (192 lb ft). It can reach a top speed of 100 km/h (62 mph) and accelerates from 0 to 50 km/h (31 mph) in 4.2 seconds. The vehicle’s range is quite impressive for its class, offering up to 105 km (65 mi) on a single charge of its 72V/4.6-kWh lithium battery pack.

For those seeking more power and versatility, the Deluxe model is an all-wheel-drive variant equipped with two 4-kW motors (one each at the front and rear). This model has a higher top speed of 110 km/h (68 mph), can accelerate from 0 to 50 km/h in just 2.3 seconds, and offers a longer range of up to 145 km (90 mi) thanks to its 7-kWh battery. Priced at $20,999 (with an early bird price of $16,999 for the first 100 prepaid orders), the Deluxe also includes two sets of tires – one for asphalt and one for off-road use.

The Leggera Ultimate model boasts a carbon fiber finish.

The top-tier Ultimate model takes performance to the next level. It features two 5-kW motors, producing a combined torque of 500 Nm (369 lb ft). This model boasts a staggering acceleration time of 1.7 seconds to 50 km/h and an extended range of 205 km (127 mi) per charge, courtesy of its 10-kWh battery. Priced at $34,995 (with a special offer of $27,999 for the first 100 prepaid purchases), the Ultimate also comes with two sets of tires and features an off-road mode with an electronically limited top speed of 80 km/h (50 mph).

The Leggera Deluxe and Ultimate models come with dual tire sets for different terrains, with its top speed capped at 80 km/h in off-road mode for safety.

Potential buyers can either prepay in full or make a deposit for a smaller discount off the final retail price through the company’s website. Avvenire is planning to commence deliveries of the Leggera next May, marking a significant milestone in the evolution of three-wheeled EV roadsters.

In summary, the Avvenire Leggera EV roadster series stands out for its affordability, performance, and versatility. With its range of models and price points, the Leggera is set to appeal to a broad spectrum of customers, from EV enthusiasts to those seeking a unique driving experience.
