Wheel locks add stability, making it easier to load and unload the wagon without worrying about it rolling away. While its design supports a range of surfaces, loose sand poses a challenge.
The wagon’s cargo hold, measuring 47 x 21.7 inches (119 x 55 cm), provides 5.3 cubic feet (150 liters) of storage. Constructed from durable 600D polyester fabric, it supports up to 330 pounds (150 kilograms). This generous capacity can accommodate essentials like coolers, camping gear, sporting equipment, fishing supplies, and snacks for an outing.
Integrated seating for comfort
Unlike many wagons that focus solely on hauling gear, the Lawn Chariot integrates two full-size seats. Each seat supports up to 265 pounds (120 kilograms) and provides a comfortable height of 18.25 inches (46 cm), comparable to a standard desk chair. Beneath the seats, an additional 3 cubic feet (85 liters) of storage is available, offering space for smaller items or quick-access essentials. Users can also fold one seat down to make room for larger items like coolers.
Adjustable canopy for sun protection
For sunny outings, the Lawn Chariot’s foldout waterproof canopy is a practical addition. Stored in a dedicated side pocket, the canopy attaches easily to either side of the wagon and can be adjusted using an included hook. Chariot Outdoor, the company behind the Lawn Chariot, began working on the project last June. After developing several prototypes, the team met their $10,000 crowdfunding goal and plans to start shipping by February 2025, provided everything goes as planned. Optional accessories, including a fishing rod holder and a 33-quart (31-liter) cooler, are also in development.
