Mia Dynamics USA has positioned its Mia Four X4 as a category blend — part stand-up scooter, part electric ATV. The company calls the four-wheel-drive machine a “Quadboard,” and its pitch is simple: combine the ground clearance and traction of an off-road vehicle with the small footprint and easy storage of an electric scooter.
The Four X4 rides on four chunky tires with independent suspension at each corner, a layout that sets it apart from the two-wheel scooters most riders are used to. Mia Dynamics says the design is protected by international patents covering its suspension and “micro-vehicle” technology.
What it is
In the company’s own words, the Four X4 is framed as something other than a conventional scooter: “Just like a Ferrari isn’t just a car, the MIA Four X4 isn’t your average ride. It’s the world’s first patented 4×4 independent suspension, stand-up electric ATV scooter—with tilt control, all-terrain capability, and a sleek, compact design.”
The riding position is stand-up, like a kick scooter, but the platform sits on a quad-wheel chassis with a tilt mechanism that lets the rider lean through turns. Mia Dynamics markets it for a mix of uses, from city streets and marinas to off-road trails, and even golf courses — one of the available accessories is a golf bag holder.
Power and range
The Four X4 uses a 7,200-watt peak motor described by Mia Dynamics as a dual hub motor setup, with power sent to all four wheels. It draws from a swappable 60-volt, 35-amp-hour battery built with Samsung 21700 cells. The pack is removable, weighs about 23 lbs (10.5 kg), and can be swapped for a smaller 25Ah unit.

Range depends heavily on how the vehicle is driven. Mia Dynamics lists up to 75 miles (120 km) in two-wheel-drive mode and up to 60 miles (96 km) when riders mix two- and four-wheel-drive modes, with both figures described as best-case numbers that vary with rider weight, terrain, and speed. The product FAQ gives a more conservative real-world range of 55 to 75 miles. Charging the 35Ah battery from empty takes about eight hours with the standard 4.5-amp charger.
Brakes, tires, and lighting
The Four X4 runs on 15-inch indoor/outdoor tires and stops with front and rear dual hydraulic disc brakes using 5.5-inch (140 mm) discs. A dual LED headlight with an integrated taillight and brake light handles night riding. Mia Dynamics lists a maximum climbing grade of 30 degrees, again noting that it depends on rider weight and battery charge.
Size and capacity
The scooter measures 49 inches long, 27.48 inches wide, and 46.85 inches tall, with a folded height of 17.7 inches once the steering stem is collapsed. It weighs about 110 lbs (50 kg) and supports a maximum load of up to 330 lbs (150 kg). The foldable handlebar is meant to make transport and storage easier than a full-size ATV.

A note on top speed
Marketing materials cite a top speed of up to 55 mph, but the figure comes with conditions that buyers should read closely. Mia Dynamics states: “The Mia FOUR X4 is limited by law to a top speed of 25 mph. However, with the explicit consent of local law enforcement, the speed limit may be updated to 55 mph. Any modifications to increase the speed beyond 55 mph, whether authorized or not, transfer full liability to the customer and void all warranties.”
In practice, that means the vehicle ships capped at 25 mph, and the higher number is not something most riders can legally use on public roads without specific authorization. Anyone weighing the Four X4 against other personal electric vehicles should treat 25 mph as the baseline.
Ownership details
The Four X4 ships with the scooter, battery, charger, and an assembly tool kit. Mia Dynamics says setup takes under 30 minutes and involves attaching mirrors and turn signals and unfolding the steering stem. Coverage is a 12-month or 12,000-mile warranty, whichever comes first, contingent on registration and following maintenance guidelines.

A modular accessory range lets owners adapt the platform with seats, cargo boxes in several sizes, racks, a trailer hitch, and the golf bag carrier.
Pricing and availability
The Mia Four X4 is listed at $8,950 on the Mia Dynamics USA product page. Shipping to the United States and Canada is free, with customs and duties included, though accessories are sold separately. Orders typically arrive within 5 to 7 business days after processing.
For context, the brand’s two-wheel-drive models sit lower in the lineup: the Spyqe starts at $2,745, the Spyqe GT at $3,245, the Mia Four X2 at $5,200, and the Four X2 GT at $5,700 (several reflecting promotional pricing at the time of writing).
The Four X4 is the most capable and most expensive option in the range. Whether the four-wheel-drive layout justifies the step up over the lighter two-wheel-drive models will come down to how much off-road use a buyer actually expects.
