Landmaster RVR UTV is now available in gas and electric models

Landmaster, a UTV (Utility Task Vehicle) manufacturer based in Indiana, has recently introduced a new model specifically engineered to facilitate everyday commercial operations. The Landmaster RVR UTV, available in both gas and electric variants, seems to be an ideal companion for a range of sectors, including golf courses, campuses, residential complexes, airports, factories, and sports venues.

The rear-wheel-drive RVR sets itself apart from other UTVs that are typically marketed for outdoor adventures. Instead, it is a reliable workhorse designed for carrying passengers, towing trailers, transporting equipment, and conducting security patrols.

The L5 RVR, the gas version of this utility vehicle, incorporates a 570cc V-twin carbureted engine along with a continuously variable transmission from partnering company CVTech. On the contrary, the all-electric AMP RVR features a direct-drive motor that offers 97 Nm (71.5 lb-ft) of torque. The electric variant relies on a lithium battery, which after a 6-8 hour charge, provides a decent range of 30 miles (48 km). For more demanding tasks, Landmaster offers an extended-range battery option that promises a substantial 50 miles (80 km) per charge.

In terms of performance, both the L5 RVR and AMP RVR share a top speed of 15 mph (24 km/h), a towing capacity of 1,500 lb (680 kg), a bed capacity of 750 lb (340 kg), and feature 8 inches (203 mm) of suspension travel along with 11 inches (279 mm) of ground clearance.

These vehicles also exhibit independent rear suspension with dual-rate shocks, electronic power steering, and a dumpable steel bed with removable sides. Other specifications include two adjustable bucket seats, 2-inch front and rear hitch receivers, and a rear locking differential. Landmaster offers the RVR with standard 24 by 12-inch turf tires, but buyers have the option to customize their tire selection.

As for pricing, the L5 RVR starts at US$11,999, while the electric AMP RVR comes with a price tag of $14,499. Given the array of functionalities and robust performance, the new Landmaster RVR UTV establishes a solid case for practical utility vehicles designed for commercial use.
