Off-road adventures are among the most exciting you could possibly enjoy. People invest tens of thousands of dollars buying fantastic off-road vehicles that can handle any kind of rugged terrain and take them places that the road simply won’t. When reaching these fantastic spots, many want to stay there and enjoy it overnight, but of course that means loading up tents, cookware, sleeping bags and mats, and tons of other camping supplies…or does it?

Enter: The Bruder EXP-4 expedition trailer. The EXP-4 is designed specifically for towing on off-road adventures. It’s the smallest unit in their EXP series, but is still capable of being set up for the entire family so everyone can join in the fun. Let’s take a closer look at what makes the EXP-4 so unique and amazing.

Ready for the off-road life

Innovative design features make this trailer truly ready for anything nature can throw at it. The Bruder suspension in particular has been carefully designed and calibrated to manage every bump and imperfection with ease. It has nearly triple the adjustable suspension travel when compared to other off-road trailers.

On top of that, the closed-cell epoxy bonded composite body cell has been engineered to withstand up to 10 times its weight in payload and hardship, and has been tested in temperatures from -4 to 122°F (-20 to 50°C). You can attach up to 37-inch tires, and the suspension height can be modified to match the vehicle towing it.

Ready to provide

When you’ve reached your destination, you might want to get ready for your evening meal to perhaps enjoy along with a fantastic sunset. Just open the rear hatch and your kitchen awaits. At the push of a button, the kitchen levels out at your preferred height. The kitchen includes a refrigerator, soft-closing drawers, a stove top, countertop and huge amounts of added storage space above the stove and countertop.

To provide more shelter and/or privacy, the EXP-4 is set up with the ability to attach a full enclosure to the rear end, along with electric awnings and shelters emanating from both sides of the trailer. You can also install a fully private enclosure on the side where you can access the shower and portable toilet systems.

Inside the EXP-4, you’re provided with a huge 6-foot wide and 7-foot long sleeping area with internal fans, roof-mounted ventilation, heating systems and air conditioning systems all available to install depending on your need. For added sleeping space, you can add in extra shelves or bunks that are ideal for younger children, and even a rooftop tent that can sleep up to 4 more people – perfect for older kids who want their own sleeping space. There’s also ample storage, including hanging space for clothes.
